Game on!
My fiance and I love watching Game Center CX. There's this super rare action figure of the host, Arino, that my fiance wants desperately. Unfortunately, the lowest we've found it for has been around $250 (I think there was one for $117, but it was on a Japanese only website). While it may not be as cool as the figure, a plush Arino might be a nice substitute!
This is my first really person-esque amigurumi and I'm...pretty okay with how it turned out. I modified a pattern and made up stuff like the tie, jacket, and cooling pad (the thing on his forehead) as I went. This was also my first time adding hair to my projects and...it also went okay. I think it would have been better if I had made the crown of his head black or if I had added even more hair (According to the tut, I was doing it right, but I'm not sure if it works well with dark hair. The hair in the tut was white on peach skin.)
Yarns used were Red Heart Soft in White, Caron Simply Soft in Black, Vanna's Choice in Chocolate and Rust, and Vanna's Choice Baby in Mint.
The pattern is a modified version of "Oli's Baby" found in Amigurumi Two! by Ana Paula Rimoli.
